i started at 10. do the math.
i started in the first place bcuz i realized that i hadn't posted anything in some time.

it looks really crappy. u must forgive me.

everything was going so well... until i had to use gimp...
so i used gimp and inkscape for this, and i didn't like inkscape at all. i can't find any better painting programs for linuxmint though.
 i wanted to put a background, but gimp doesn't allow it. i know, it doesn't have all the little details, and the expression on her face is stupid.
btw, the silver thingies in her hair are snowflakes.

caramelldancen miku

i previously made an ugly caramelldancen hatsune miku, and i started thinking of making a better version.... so i did.
it isn't moving to fast or too slow, in my opinion. my sister says : "it looks like she's standing between two elevator doors that are trying to close on her, but her hips are keeping them open."
yea, that's what sisters are for. to insult u.

FIRST DECEMBER POST.

i just had an epiphany.....
IN A MONTH, IT'S GONNA BE 2013.
i know, it's been known for a long time. but if it turns into 2013... then i'll be 13! i've been 12 for idon'tknowhowlongayear?
of course, then there's those paranoids who go around screaming that the world's gonna end on December 21st 2012. they must be really scared right now. Imagine how freaked out they're gonna be on the 20th.....
nevermind them now.
On friday, i went to the hospital (not about to give you all the details on that thing, but i'll tell you that it didn't turn out to be anything major) and got bored.  so i demanded for a pencil and started on this:

i was bored. 

i finished and colored it at home using crayons and colored pencils. I have no idea what to call it...

my scanner is being mean to me. that bunny is supposed to be a bright orange, not a rusty red. it got all the other colors right but not the orange? 

btw, the girl is the picture is not, i  repeat, not me. 

i would never decorate my entire room with a pink heart theme, stick a poster of some pop singer on my wall, or use a red backpack. 

though i would dye my hair purple, wear such funky clothes, and have odd plushie green things that are horribly adorable lying around.

i should tell you that i'm not very good at drawing objects, i can't draw straight lines. so everything thing except for the girl looks exceptionally crappy. 

MORE FANART.

it's a sketch that took me 2 hours straight... and it's slanted... again....
so i read the 3rd volume(it was amazing! the plot keeps thickening, light gets crazier, u get to see more of L's percentages and oddness!), and i completely guessed the entire chapter 23... the one where misa sends all those videos and everyone is like OMG. i already knew that a girl named misa who had a death note would come in, and i just couldn't stop my brain from telling me that this was her doing and that she traded her eyes with a shinigami. (stupid spoilers... they make me give myself spoilers.)
Drawing misa was nice. I know, the girl is so INCREDIBLY STUPID ( and i've only just met her) but drawing her was a nice break from drawing kira and L. they're guys. and they didn't wear anything especially interesting, so when i came to misa, i was excited. her gothic style is specifically the thing i needed.
  My sister came and asked me why light was bringing his death note to school, and i was like IT'S ART. of course, i didn't say it out loud, though i should've... (light's sneakers are fine this time! yay!)
L is eating some form of round candy... they are not gumballs, i know that much. Have u ever seen him eat anything healthy(in the first 3 volumes)? he must have high metabolism. some of my friends say that i have high metabolism, since i'm always eating macaroni, pasta, chocolate, or candy, BUT IM ALWAYS THE SAME. I do like lettuce, but we hardly buy it.
SEE, I'VE STARTED RANTING.

so this is my school-time death note fan art that i drew in my notebook, and which took me 2 hours to draw. why do i not draw other stuff? i do.
they just don't feel worthy of being shown to the internet world.

nyan cat and tac nayn....

yes, i know, they're not cats in my picture but they're still nyan cat and tac nayn.
There's that whole argument about whether nyan cat is a guy or a girl, but i originally believed he's a guy, so that how i drew him. I drew this on inkscape, and was a bit disappointed by the program.  after a while of using the program's fill tool, my whole computer would become slow and i would have to close inkscape and lose what i drew.

My nyan cat/tac nayn drawing was just for testing out inkscape, since my new OS is linuxmint and linuxmint doesn't have a normal painting program (i had a tantrum and my mom installed this thing). I drew nyan cat first, so he look's crappier than tac nayn. It took forever to make this... and it looks weird. i think we can all agree that tac nayn looks better, poor nyan cat.
I didn't feel like making a background for this.
maybe as time goes by, i'll get used to using this program... or i'll install a new one.

my deathnote necklace

i made a mini video/gif thingy to show u my deathnote necklace... it only took me half an hour to make, and u can tell.
it's not like i'm gonna sell it on etsy or anything, i'm happy the way it is.
it's not an authentic version, no how to use part and only contains 8 pages.
now, is the only thing i wear black? no and yes... i usually wear black... but i sometimes wear color. no one can spend their whole life wearing black.
this was a short post... and i've noticed the only posts i've blogged are about death note lately.
Don't worry, i've been working on a nyan cat and tac nayn picture, and it's turning out okay.
Also, i'm making it on the computer.

kinda depressed... don't feel like giving this post a title...

i'm depressed over a spoiler...
i cried the first time i got a spioler about the death of a character in death note... so this time i'm trying not to let it have a big impact on me. i do have the same stomach ache though...
i don't even now if the spoiler is real, i don't want to find out...
never mind that, now!

i drew another kira and L picture, since the last one had a horrible mistake. i know it's kinda slanted, but that was a minor accident with the scanner. I asked some ppl who read the series how old they look and they said they look 12... not my intention, but i guess they could be  younger versions of kira and L. or perhaps they're chibis. i can only draw chibi stuffs. The hardest part in drawing this was light's shoes... i do not know how to draw sneakers. I hope L's hair isn't a complete fail...
over all, i guess i'm satisfied with the picture.

everyone's thinking i'm obsessed, at school, but i can't deny it. I mean i drew this in my notebook, an there's more sketches and entries. In my school planner, too. I just can't think of anything else to draw.

wat i don't get is why the first question u're asked by a fan is:
"who do like better, Kira or L?"
how am i going to answer a question like that?! All the girls i've met who read death note just lovelovelove L. Why? bcuz he's the good guy? Why do they hate on Light so much? he's a excellent character too.
They're both brilliant and amazing, how am i supposed to pick and choose?
so i just say kira.

a mistake

how many of u noticed this and did not tell? well, actually i'm glad u didn't tell me, since that would be a spoiler. So thank you...

And i can't blame myself, i was only on the first volume. All i saw of his hair was the ends, not the top of his head. If i had been remembering L's hair( or if i had even payed attention to it!) when my sister was telling the spoiler, i would had noticed that his hair is spikey, not just longish. 

it's not that bad.... still, if i ever draw another chibi L, i am not going to let this happen again.

Death Note

So i read the first volume of death note, and it was AMAZING.
it's so AMAZING, i've already made fan art... (they're chibis)

it looks much better in real life... -.- i am disappointed of u, scanner.
anyway i know i shouldn't know how L looks since i've only read the first volume, but my sister accidentally told me by saying "he wears a lot of eye liner." I've seen the cover of the second volume, so i know exactly how he looked. i think the lines on Light's side of the page are a bit too faint... oh well, if ur one of my friends, i'll jus show it to u at school.
i hardly do anything in color and i cant draw on the computer (it's so hard!!!!). Some time ago, people in my class said they didn't read mangas because they don't have any color. That's no reason not to read them! Doesn't ur mind automatically fill in the color? and give the characters their own unique voices? 
okay, i know not everyone's the same... and besides, mangas don't need color.

the sand siblings

I finished this picture on Tuesday, in which Gaara's siblings are attempting to hug him. My friend ask me how I knew Gaara didn't like hugs, and i was like; does Gaara seem like the person who likes hugs? i'm sure he really does like hugs, but will never tell anyone that.

my sister could't tell that Kankuro's eyes were closed, so I'll tell you now; KANKURO'S EYES ARE CLOSED. Also, Temari is a chibi, so of course her hair is a bit big. 

It took me until 10 o'clock last night to get this picture onto my computer. Soo frustrating, u can't believe my relief when it finally uploaded.

i made this gif at 9:40 at night, cause i felt like taking a break from homework.

i always wanted a dragon, but, disappointingly, they only exist in our minds.

i was surprised the dragon came out right. whenever i draw one, the head is too fat, or the body is weird, or the wings are too small.

i cant believe this!

i play these games that i called the "devilish" games on girlsgogames.com. they are some of my favorite games. so theres this devil girl and an angel girl. the angel girl makes something and when her backs turned, the devil girl messes it up.

 so when i found out about the poorly done copy called the paint theif, i was furious.

its horrrible! the animation is terrible, and the whole thing is just AGH!!!

a brief post of some thoughts

I went to the library last week and i picked up a book, whose author's name was somewhat familiar to me, The Humming Room (by Ellen Potter). As soon as I saw the painted cover I thought "this was done by Jason Chan!"

I don't know why I didn't realize it before. Ellen Potter is that simply amazing author, who wrote one of my favorite books The Kneebone Boy. She write the most awe-inspiring stuff. As you can see below The Kneebone Boy's cover art is also done by Jason Chan.

There's another book, The Girl Who Could Fly (by Victoria Foresester), a heartwarming story, and the cover art is (as ypu've probably guessed) done by Jason Chan. That guy really captures the characters personality, unlike some cover designers who read a paragraph of the description and start doodling random stuff.
